League of Women Voters of Piedmont Annual Meeting

Richard Rothstein will be the guest speaker at the LWVP annual meeting and luncheon. Rothstein’s latest book, The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America debunks the myths that surround racial segregation in America’s cities. The book documents the evidence that our government not merely ignored discriminatory practices in the residential sphere, but promoted them. The Color of Law is a Publisher’s Weekly Top 10 Best Books of 2017 and has been featured on NPR’s Fresh Air and in The New York Times.
